No other cardiology practice

is quite like Change of Heart Cardiology
. Our founder Scott R. Eisenberg, DO, FACC has developed a practical program for heart patients that he calls “Proven Total Care” (PTC).
PTC includes the traditional medical treatments you would expect from board-certified cardiologists, such as invasive and non-invasive testing, angioplasty, stents and medical management of heart and vascular disease, heart failure and palpations. However, PTC also explores evidence-based alternative and complementary therapies for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. PTC helps patients learn their heart risk and fight it, rather than waiting for an event to happen.
Dr. Eisenberg holds three sets of credentials to give his patients a broader perspective on heart disease. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease; certified in lipidology (the study of cholesterol analysis) and certified in the exciting field of anti-aging medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. His partner Dr. Robert Kayser, MD, FACC, FSCAI holds board certifications in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology and cardiac computed tomography and their associate Dr Peter Hynes, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI is certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and non-invasive vascular imaging. Together, they are able to offer the broad range of cardiac and vascular expertise you should expect from a full service, state-of-the-art cardiovascular practice.
“This practice has always been oriented to being able to prevent disease, not just treat it,” says Dr. Eisenberg. “Many patients are reluctant to sign up for a lifetime of medication. We help them understand what works and what doesn't. We explore alternatives and integrate proven non-traditional methods where appropriate. For example, with expanded lipid analysis we identify the quality of cholesterol and other hidden markers that predict early disease. I tell my patients ‘I'm a plumber and can unclog the drain, but I'd rather prevent the clog from forming.' My associates feel the same way.”
